Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and document analysis to define business needs.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise functional specifications and user stories.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with technical teams, including developers and QA, to ensure proper implementation of solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, data models, and system requirements.
- Monitor project progress and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery of business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience in Scrum preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with government contracting or public sector projects is a significant plus.
