Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation.
- Create detailed user stories, use cases, and system specifications to guide the development and testing teams.
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions and system integrations.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, including requirements workshops and design reviews, ensuring clear communication and consensus.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, providing mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, requirements, and system changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the government or tech sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience working with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language for non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and leading requirements elicitation sessions.
