Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth stakeholder interviews to gather and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions for optimization.
- Create wireframes, process maps, and user stories using tools like Visio or Lucidchart to visualize system flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Product Management, and Quality Assurance to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform gap analysis between current capabilities and future business needs to recommend necessary enhancements.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to keep projects on track.
- Monitor project metrics and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or IT environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction and reporting.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification is a strong plus.
