Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions for optimization.
- Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality artifacts, including User Stories, Process Maps, Functional Specifications, and UI Mockups.
- Agile Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Product Managers and Engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring clear communication and sprint goals.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex datasets using SQL and Excel to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and validate system functionality against business requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a tech-driven environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake).
- Tools: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio) and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
