Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitated workshops to define clear business needs, scope, and system requirements.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions that drive efficiency.
- Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and wireframes using tools like Jira, Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business clients and the development team, ensuring accurate communication of project status and risks.
- Agile Support: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and Excel to validate data integrity and support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or agency environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Organization: Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
