Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for software development and process improvement projects.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and use cases to visualize current state operations and design future state workflows.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for efficiency, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
- Documentation: Author and maintain clear, concise business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and technical documentation.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and non-technical business units to ensure mutual understanding and successful project delivery.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to create test plans and acceptance criteria, ensuring final deliverables meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data structures and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart) is a plus.
