Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes and requirements to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Create and maintain dashboards using SQL, Power BI, and Tableau for executive stakeholders
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with senior government officials and private sector partners
- Validate data integrity and perform gap analysis for compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in government or regulated industries
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and data visualization tools
- Experience with Agile methodologies and requirement management tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong understanding of DC regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
- Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
