Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes and requirements for federal and commercial clients using SQL, Excel, and BI tools
- Create detailed documentation including process flows, user stories, and system specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain data models to support strategic decision-making and performance metrics
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations and reports
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement data-driven optimization strategies
- Support weekend sprint planning and agile ceremonies for assigned projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of business analysis experience with federal or government contracting
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Excel advanced functions, and at least one BI tool (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, user story creation, and process mapping
- Exceptional analytical thinking with ability to synthesize complex information
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights to executive leadership
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 8 AM-4 PM) with occasional weekday collaboration
- Professional certification (CBAP, PMP, or similar) preferred
