Responsibilities
- Lead weekend shift operations for 24/7 data centers and cloud infrastructure
- Coordinate incident response and disaster recovery procedures
- Manage team of 5-7 technical specialists and on-call engineers
- Implement automation tools to optimize weekend workflows
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and skill development sessions
- Collaborate with weekday teams for seamless handovers
- Generate operational reports and improvement recommendations
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- 8+ years in IT operations with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in AWS/Azure infrastructure monitoring tools
- Strong background in incident management and on-call rotations
- Experience with automation (Ansible, Terraform, Python)
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- BS in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
