Responsibilities
- Gather and Analyze Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, document functional requirements, and create user stories.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and use cases to visualize current and future state business processes.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct gap analysis between current business processes and proposed solutions to identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Requirement Management: Maintain the requirements traceability matrix and ensure all project requirements are tracked from inception to delivery.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality documentation, including requirements specifications, functional specifications, and test plans.
- Reporting: Analyze data trends to provide actionable insights to leadership for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel) is required.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Tucson, AZ.
