Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and verify business requirements and needs.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and recommend solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for technical teams.
- Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows using Agile methodologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and the IT development team.
- Training & Support: Assist in the training of end-users on new systems and processes post-implementation.
- Reporting: Monitor project KPIs and prepare regular status reports for management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Virginia Beach, VA or hybrid.
