Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future technologies and business models
- Establish industry-leading trend intelligence networks with academic and corporate partners
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members with data-backed strategic recommendations
- Oversee the Horizon Innovation Lab's $50M annual research budget
- Develop talent pipelines for emerging roles in AI ethics, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Publish quarterly industry white papers on disruptive technology convergence
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or C-suite technology leadership
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into billion-dollar market opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, and climate tech
- Published author or keynote speaker at Davos, TED, or equivalent global forums
- Experience building and managing global innovation teams of 20+ professionals
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent professional designation
