Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the development of a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives and anticipates future market shifts.
- Emerging Tech Evaluation: Conduct rigorous research and analysis on emerging technologies to determine their viability and potential impact on our business.
- Proof of Concepts (PoC): Design, execute, and manage PoCs for high-priority technologies to validate their practical application.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive leadership, product teams, and engineering to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Vendor Partnership: Identify, vet, and manage relationships with key technology vendors and strategic partners.
- Operational Excellence: Establish governance frameworks to ensure the safe and effective deployment of new technologies.
- Team Leadership: Mentor internal teams on emerging trends and foster a culture of continuous innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Masterās degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in strategic technology planning, IT management, or product strategy.
- Tech Proficiency: Deep understanding of current tech stacks and proven expertise in AI, Machine Learning, or Blockchain.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and anticipate how technology will evolve by 2026.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting to non-technical audiences.
- Certifications: Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Strategic Planning are a plus.
