Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate breakthrough technologies into market-ready solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and venture capital firms
- Present technology insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation lab initiatives and pilot programs for emerging tech validation
- Drive thought leadership through industry publications, conferences, and patent development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem and startup community
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
