Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum computing and neural interface applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with MIT/Stanford research consortia
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants from NSF, DoD, and private foundations
- Architect patent portfolios for next-gen AI and biocomputing systems
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board of trustees
- Mentor PhD researchers in emerging technology commercialization
- Monitor global tech disruption vectors and competitive landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (patents required)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing architectures
- Executive-level experience with $50M+ R&D budgets
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on AI or quantum systems
- Deep familiarity with DARPA/EPSRC funding frameworks
