What You'll Do:
You'll lead horizon-scanning initiatives, produce trend intelligence reports, and design innovation frameworks that translate future possibilities into current priorities. Your insights will directly influence product development, investment decisions, and organizational culture, ensuring we're not just prepared for 2026 but actively shaping it.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains
- Develop and publish quarterly Future State Intelligence reports with strategic recommendations
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for C-suite executives
- Create scenario-planning models for market disruptions and technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype future-ready solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from APF or ISPI)
