Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise-level server systems, cloud infrastructure, and network operations during night hours
- Implement proactive security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments during low-traffic periods
- Execute system patches, updates, and optimizations with zero-downtime methodology
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex infrastructure issues via remote and on-site support
- Document all infrastructure changes and maintain comprehensive system documentation
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless handovers and continuity planning
- Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities for critical incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure (VMware, AWS, Azure)
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and network security protocols
- Certification in CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously
- Strong written communication for documentation and incident reporting
- Ability to work effectively during night hours with high attention to detail
