Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
- Process Mapping: Create and maintain comprehensive process maps, flowcharts, and UML diagrams to visualize current and future state workflows.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and business units to ensure project goals are met.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed specifications, user stories, and technical documentation.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project status, KPIs, and process performance.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users regarding new systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Availability: Must be able to commit to a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week).
