Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Gather, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborate with IT and QA teams to ensure successful system implementation and testing.
- Monitor project milestones and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and propose remediation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Business Analyst, preferably in a part-time or consulting capacity.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Familiarity with process modeling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
