Role Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying business needs and determining the most effective solutions to meet those needs. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and clients to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and user stories.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including flowcharts, process maps, and data models.
- Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business logic.
- Monitor project KPIs and generate weekly performance reports for executive leadership.
- Act as a subject matter expert during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
