Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical models into executable code
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning pipelines
- Optimize algorithms for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics with quantum focus
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Publication record in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong Python/C++ programming with scientific computing libraries
- Understanding of NISQ-era constraints and error mitigation techniques
