Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 10,000+ qubit capacity
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction algorithms
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in quantum materials and cryogenic engineering
- Define quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Partner with NASA, MIT, and CERN on quantum simulation projects
- File 3-5 quantum computing patents annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or superconducting systems
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or quantum assembly languages
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering below 20mK temperatures
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum projects
