Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical 2026-era applications
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures using superconducting qubits
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Manage a cross-disciplinary team of 8 quantum physicists and ML engineers
- Develop proprietary quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NASA research grants
- Partner with Intel, IBM, and NASA on quantum-hybrid computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years hands-on quantum computing experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction thresholds
- Track record of translating theory to scalable prototypes
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
