Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times
- Lead peer-reviewed research for Nature/Science publications
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NSF research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral fellows in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
