Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate-tech integration
- Secure and manage $50M+ in DARPA/NSF research grants for frontier technologies
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Establish industry partnerships with quantum computing startups and AI ethics coalitions
- Author white papers on the societal impact of emerging technologies
- Mentor PhD researchers in experimental physics and machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Materials Science (or equivalent expertise)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with $100M+ budget management experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing quantum or AI innovations
- Expertise in grant writing for federal research programs
- Deep understanding of semiconductor physics and neuromorphic engineering
- Public speaking experience at TED/WEF-level technology conferences
