Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for the 2026 Horizon AI strategy, aligning research with business objectives.
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems for high-volume AI inference and training workloads.
- Lead the research and integration of cutting-edge AI technologies, including Agentic AI workflows and multi-modal models.
- Mentor a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and ethical AI standards are integrated into every layer of the architecture.
- Conduct architectural reviews and drive technical decision-making to mitigate risks and optimize performance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML architecture and system design.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent machine learning frameworks.
- Proven track record of designing systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data and high-frequency inference.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and their application to future-proofing AI systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.
