Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current business processes and design optimized workflows using process modeling tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and system requirements documents (SRDs) for the development team.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to analyze system performance metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Agile Leadership: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (querying and database design) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Methodology: Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Tools: Experience with project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value for non-technical audiences.
