Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough interviews and workshops with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements for system implementations and process improvements.
- Process Modeling: Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and use case documentation using Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools to visualize current and future state processes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and IT teams, translating technical jargon into business language and vice versa.
- Project Support: Assist in the execution of project plans, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget, and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including business requirements specifications (BRD) and functional design documents (FDD).
- Change Management: Support the transition to new systems or processes by developing training materials and assisting in change management strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the Milwaukee or Midwest market.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is highly desirable.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Tools: Experience with business process management software (e.g., BPMN, ARIS) and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex business problems and propose innovative solutions.
