Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement, documenting workflows using UML, BPMN, or flowcharts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and project managers, to ensure technical specifications align with business goals.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage defect tracking to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Create detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents (PRDs) to guide the development lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding project status and deliverables.
- Monitor project KPIs and provide regular status reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a full-time capacity.
- Proven experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a strong preference for Agile certification (CSM or PMI-ACP).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and BI platforms like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is highly desirable.
