We're seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to oversee our corporate accounting operations and drive financial strategy in our Seattle headquarters. This urgent opening requires immediate availability to ensure seamless financial operations during a critical growth phase. You'll lead month-end close processes, manage compliance, and collaborate with C-suite executives to optimize financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and financial reporting
- Lead month-end/quarter-end closing processes with accuracy
- Develop and implement internal controls for SOX compliance
- Partner with FP&A to forecast budgets and analyze variances
- Manage accounting staff (3+ professionals) and mentor team members
- Coordinate external audits and tax filings
- Drive process improvements using NetSuite and BI tools
Qualifications
- CPA certification required with 7+ years corporate accounting experience
- 5+ years in controller or senior accounting leadership role
- Expertise in SOX compliance and GAAP standards
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and financial modeling
- Proven success managing accounting teams of 3+
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred
- Immediate availability to start within 1 week
