Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including trend analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessment
- Design innovation roadmaps aligning with organizational goals and market evolution
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend validation
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and critical thinking
- Author thought leadership publications positioning our organization as an industry visionary
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Strong publication record in foresight or innovation domains
- Experience with AI/ML, biotechnology, or climate tech trend analysis preferred
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) highly valued
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
