Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging market opportunities and technological inflection points
- Collaborate with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable commercial offerings
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and executive briefings
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Design and facilitate scenario planning workshops for C-suite leadership
- Quantify future market potential using predictive analytics and trend modeling
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend forecasting, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
