Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, identifying disruptive innovations in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams with emerging market trends
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and strategic briefings for C-suite stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate emerging startups into ecosystem
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums shaping 2026 regulations
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership through public speaking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with proven 5-year foresight track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AGI, synthetic biology, or quantum systems
- Publication of 3+ peer-reviewed futurism papers or industry trend reports
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience developing patent portfolios for next-generation technologies
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
- Strong network connections with DARPA, IEEE, or equivalent innovation bodies
