Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of project lifecycles: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Manage stakeholder relationships across federal, municipal, and private sector organizations
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies while ensuring compliance with federal procurement regulations
- Lead risk mitigation efforts and ensure timely delivery of deliverables
- Mentor junior project managers and foster high-performing team cultures
- Track KPIs and present executive-level progress reports to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive project management experience in government-contracting or regulated industries
- PMP or CPM certification mandatory
- Proven success managing complex technology infrastructure or digital transformation projects
- Expertise in federal procurement processes (FAR, DFARS)
- Exceptional communication skills with C-suite and external partners
- Advanced proficiency in Jira, MS Project, and Asana
- Experience with DC municipal government systems highly desirable
