Role Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within our software development lifecycle. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles from initiation to closure, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and QA specialists to drive project momentum.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress against milestones.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively to minimize impact on timelines.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior project managers and team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager in the Technology sector (3+ years preferred).
- Strong familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- PMP, CAPM, or PgMP certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid environment is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites in San Diego as needed.
