Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather business requirements and document pain points
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Excel, and BI tools to identify trends and opportunities
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams
- Create process flow diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain dashboards for performance monitoring and reporting
- Facilitate workshops to align cross-functional teams on project goals
- Validate solutions through UAT and ensure deliverables meet business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of business analysis experience with part-time/freelance background
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong experience with requirement documentation (BRDs, UML diagrams)
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences
- Local Virginia Beach residency preferred
