Your Role
As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and determine the best solutions to meet those needs. You will translate complex requirements into actionable technical specifications and drive process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for software development and process improvement initiatives.
- Process Mapping: Create and maintain detailed process maps, flowcharts, and use case diagrams to visualize current and future state business processes.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise, and accurate functional specifications and user stories for the development team.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization within business operations.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and deliverables.
- Testing & Validation: Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Reporting: Generate and present regular performance reports and project status updates to leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data-driven environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and extraction; strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar documentation tools.
- Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of resolving complex business problems.
