Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Elicitation: Conduct interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions to define clear business needs and functional requirements.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and UML diagrams to visualize current and future state processes.
- Documentation: Author and maintain high-quality requirements specifications, user stories, and technical documentation.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and QA to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for business optimization.
- Agile Leadership: Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprints, Backlog Refinement) and drive the sprint backlog prioritization.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure the successful delivery of features.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or software development environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and at least one process modeling tool (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall project management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
