Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026+
- Develop data-driven strategic scenarios and innovation roadmaps for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product development and business models
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership for industry conferences and publications
- Establish and maintain relationships with futurists, academic institutions, and innovation hubs
- Quantify future opportunities through market analysis, risk assessment, and ROI modeling
- Mentor junior strategists and build a culture of anticipatory thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact in tech-driven industries
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through organizational transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
