Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
- Process Modeling: Create detailed process maps, use case diagrams, and flowcharts to visualize current and future state processes.
- Data Analysis: Translate raw data into meaningful insights using SQL and Excel to support decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and business units to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), and technical specifications.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning, risk assessment, and timeline management to ensure project delivery meets business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or consulting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work in the Boston, MA area.
