Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets using SQL and Excel to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive user stories, functional specifications, process maps, and wireframes using Visio or Lucidchart.
- Agile Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure project milestones are met.
- Testing Support: Define test criteria, assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary point of contact for business units, translating technical jargon into clear business value.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial or technology sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL and advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall project management.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of identifying root causes of business issues and implementing scalable solutions.
- Tools: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
