As a Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, identifying inefficiencies and implementing data-driven solutions that boost productivity and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements for new and existing systems.
- Process Improvement: Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights, trends, and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive process maps, wireframes, user stories, and functional specifications using industry-standard tools.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
- Testing & Validation: Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate user feedback to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Methodologies: Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as requirement gathering techniques (JAD sessions, interviews).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
