Job Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. You will gather requirements, analyze data, and drive process improvements that directly contribute to our success in the Wichita market.
Responsibilities
- Gather and Document Requirements: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- Analyze Business Processes: Evaluate current workflows and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to interpret complex data sets and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all BA-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication between IT and business units.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation including functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and wireframes.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning and execution, monitoring progress to ensure deliverables are met on time.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC).
