Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for software development projects.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive functional requirements documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, and wireframes to guide the development team.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and the IT development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights and support strategic business decisions.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans, execute test scripts, and verify that delivered solutions meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting complex business problems and proposing effective solutions.
