Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, surveys, and workshops to define business needs.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications for the development team.
- Collaborate with IT developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of software features.
- Create process maps, flowcharts, and wireframes using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Monitor project KPIs and deliverables to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Document all findings and recommendations in detailed technical documentation and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites within Illinois as needed.
