Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Create detailed user stories, process flows, and system documentation using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and product managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform gap analysis between current systems and future requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project status updates and issue resolution.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel to client sites within the Memphis area as needed.
