Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive requirement gathering through interviews, workshops, and documentation analysis.
- Design and maintain detailed business process documentation, including process maps and workflow diagrams.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams to ensure project alignment.
- Utilize SQL and Excel to extract data, generate reports, and identify trends that drive business decisions.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current system capabilities and business goals.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project progress and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery of business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or financial setting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Must be willing to work on-site or hybrid within the New York metro area.
