Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into clear, functional requirements and user stories.
- Process Mapping: Create and maintain detailed process maps and flowcharts to visualize business workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to provide insights that drive strategic business decisions and operational efficiency.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, and technical manuals.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between the IT development team and business units, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test cases, validate solutions, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong preference for candidates available to work a night shift.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Methodologies: Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
