As a Business Analyst on our Night Shift team, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions that enhance productivity and user experience.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets using SQL and Excel to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation, including process maps (BPMN), user stories, and system requirements specifications.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and non-technical business units to ensure project goals are met.
- Testing & Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validate that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business metrics for leadership review.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data-driven or technical environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Querying & Database Design) and advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) as required.
- Tools: Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or MS Project.
