Responsibilities
- Gather and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications from stakeholders.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and design teams to define project scope and deliverables.
- Create wireframes and process maps using tools like Visio or Lucidchart to visualize solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis to evaluate current processes against industry standards and recommend best practices.
- Support UAT and implementation by acting as the primary liaison between technical teams and end-users.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst (part-time or full-time) in a technology or consulting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Excel (advanced functions) for data extraction and reporting.
- Tools: Familiarity with data modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and project management software (Jira, Asana).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Flexibility: Ability to work part-time hours (approx. 20-25 hours per week) with a commitment to project milestones.
